2024 Independent Research Project

As a member of the Liberal Arts Honors Program at the University of Texas at El Paso, I was required to complete an independent research project in my final semester/term as an undergraduate student. I needed to choose a topic that went in relation to my studies as a Digital Media Production major, which caused me to conduct an analysis on how visual cinematic elements were incorporated into the video game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in order to further enhance the narrative of the product. Considering that I hold the desire to go into video game development in the near future, I felt that it was necessary to begin combining the knowledge obtained from my studies with products in the field that I am aiming to make my way into, both academically and professionally.
