2020-2022 Realism Work

This collection displays my practice of realism within my work and my transition to focus more centrally on the depiction of characters than the background. Unlike much of my other pieces, these mainly took inspiration from depicting individuals from live-action projects like Marvel, video games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and online influencers like Ethan Nestor and Markiplier often in more static portraits. Having developed some experience with lighting and coloring more 2-dimensional based characters, I took this chance to practice how different types of lighting would serve to interact with more realistic facial and bodily proportions.
